Edwardian 1.82 Carat Natural Ceylon Yellow Sapphire Ring, circa 1905
My goodness this is wonderful. The yellow sapphire in the centre – certified as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) – is a bright, sunshine yellow. The stone is secured in a four claw yellow gold collet daisy motif nestled into the split shoulders, leading to a slender yellow gold shank. A beautiful sapphire in a truly remarkable ring.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
