Edwardian 11.36 Carat Lilac Star Sapphire Solitaire Ring, dated 1913
An amazing stone in a very, very pretty mount. The lilac star sapphire displays a clear and distinct asterism with a glowing soft purple background. The stone is rubover set in yellow gold, with beautiful split scrolling shoulders, to a slim D-shaped shank.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30306811).
Cut – Round cabochon.
Carat – Approximately 11.36 carat.
Dated – 1913.
Condition – Some damage to the base of the sapphire (pictured). This does not show when the ring is worn and does not affect the integrity of the stone. The tarnishing to the gold removed if you prefer.
Size – P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is approximately 5.1 x 4.8 x 8.5mm.
