Edwardian 6.57 Carat Cabochon Emerald Solitaire Ring, circa 1910
Hypnotically beautiful. The glowing cabochon emerald is gentle blueish green and display very good transparency for a stone of this size. The emerald is rubover and milgrain set above a strikingly geometric gallery, leading to old cut diamond step-down shoulders on a fine platinum band.
Cut – Oval shaped cabochon emerald and old mine / miner cut diamonds.
Colour – Diamond are H.
Clarity – There are some visible inclusions in the emerald, which is common for this gem.
Carat – The emerald is a known 6.57 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.40 carat.
