Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
Cut – Cushion cut sapphire and old mine / miner cut diamonds.
Colour – The sapphire is blue and purple. The diamonds are H.
Clarity – The sapphire has one inclusion that can – just – be seen with the naked eye, but is otherwise clean. The diamonds are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The sapphire is a known 6.90 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.92.
Circa – 1910.
Size – I 1/2 (UK) or 4.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is approximately 23.1mm by 16.9mm and sits 6.2mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested.
