Late 20th Century 0.59 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, dated 1998
A sleek and very cool diamond engagement ring. The high quality old mine cut diamond in the centre dates from around the mid- to late- 1800s, and finds itself in a setting which is at least 100 years younger, with date-marks indicating it was made it 1998. The cushion shaped centre is set laterally in a simple white gold collet and flanked by a pair of matching, high quality tapered baguette cut diamonds. On a D-shaped 18k yellow gold shank.

Cut – Old mine cut in the centre with tapered baguette cuts either side.
Colour – The centre is F, the sides are E to F.
Clarity – The old mine cut is VS2. The tapered baguettes are VVS2.
Carat – The centre is a known 0.59 carat. The combined weight of the tapered baguettes is 0.28 carat.
Circa – The ring has date-marks indicating 1998. The diamond is from the late 1800s.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The centre is approximately 5.5 x 4.8mm. From the outer edge of one tapered baguette to the other is 14mm. Sits 5.3mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow and white gold. Hallmarked.
