Late 20th Century 3.42 Carat Natural Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1970
A gorgeous and glowing natural sapphire and diamond ring. The centre stone – certified as unheated and untreated and originating from either Sri Lanka or Madagascar – displays a bright, sky blue. A total of twelve high white and clean round brilliant cut diamonds surround the centre atop a open, wired gallery. Twelve (six either side) round brilliant cut diamond run down the shoulders of the slim and tapering white gold shank.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the sapphire shows no indications of heating.
Cut – Oval cut sapphire and round brilliant cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The sapphire is 3.42 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 1.05 carat.
Circa – 1970.
Measurements – The sapphire is 8.3 x 7.1mm. The head of the ring is 15.2 x 13.2mm and sits 7.5mm from the finger.
Size – K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
