Late 20th Century 1.75 Carat Colombian Emerald & Diamond Earrings, circa 1970
A fantastic pair of vintage emerald earrings. The pair of square shaped emerald cut Colombian emeralds displays a glowing, electric green and are rubover set in 18k yellow gold. The emeralds sit at the top of the earrings, with a line of incredibly white and bright round brilliant cut diamonds beneath, leading a curved shell shaped bottom.
For pierced ears, with lever-backs.

Cut – Square emerald cut emeralds and round brilliant cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are E to F.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS2 to SI1; all are clean to the naked eye. The emeralds are eye-clean.
Carat – The total emerald weight is approximately 1.75 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.23 carat.
Circa – 1970.
Measurements – Each emerald, including its setting, is 7 x 7mm. From top to bottom each earring is 17mm
Metal – Stamped ‘750’ indicating 18k gold, and tests as such.
