Mid Century 0.87 Carat Transitional Cut Diamond “Halo” Diamond Ring, circa 1960
Such a pretty ring. The central transitional cut diamond displays a gentle warming tone which is emphasised by the sixteen eight-cut diamonds in the “halo” surrounding it. The ring sits nice and snug to the finger with neat swirling detailing the gallery, leading to an ultra fine band with a further sixteen diamonds (eight either side) eight-cuts running down the shoulders.
Cut – Transitional cut diamond in the centre, with eight-cut diamonds in the surround.
Colour – M in the centre, G in the surround.
Clarity – SI2 in the centre, VS1 in the surround.
Carat – 0.87 carat in the centre. The surround holds approximately 0.32 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1960.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 9mm by 8.8mm and sits 5.2mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
