Mid Century 0.92 Carat Old Cut Diamond “Nouveau” Ring, French, circa 1960
This wonderfully elegant and beautifully crafted French diamond ring is heavily influenced by the Art Nouveau. The two main diamonds – old European cuts – are white and lively, and nestle in the curves of of the milgrained and diamond set central reverse “S”. The sweeping head of the ring elegantly conforms to the curving, diamond set shank.

Cut – The two main stones are old European cuts, with round brilliant and eight-cut diamonds
Colour – The two main stones are F and I. The remaining stones are F to G.
Clarity – The two main stones are SI1 and VS2. The remaining stones range from VS1 to SI1; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The two main stones are a known 0.34 and 0.35 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.92 carat.
Circa – 1960.
