Mid Century 1.00 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1960
A fine and lively 1.00 carat old cut diamond engagement ring. Although graded as an I1, the centre stone is clean to the naked eye and displays an impressive amount of fire and brilliance. Six (three each side) eight-cut diamonds are set in the white gold shoulders and lead to a 2mm D-shaped yellow gold shank.

Cut – Old mine cut in the centre, with eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – K. (H to I in the shoulders.)
Clarity – I1 in the centre (with SI1 to SI2 in the shoulders).
Carat – A known 1.00 carat in the centre. The total approximate weight of the diamonds in the shoulders is 0.06 carat.
Circa – 1960.
Measurements – The centre stone is approximately 6.1mm in diameter. Sits 5mm from the finger.
Size – K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – 18k gold. Hallmarked.
