Mid Century 1.02 Carat Transitional Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1950
A crackerjack engagement ring featuring a white, bright, internally clean and impressively vibrant transitional cut diamond. The centre stone is secured in a six claw collet with geometric detailing in the gallery, leading to diamond set shoulder and a fine platinum shank. Classically beautiful.

Cut – Transitional cut in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are eight-cuts and round brilliant cuts.
Colour – The centre is I with G to I diamonds in the shoulders.
Clarity – VS2 in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – A known 1.02 carat in the centre with an additional approximate 0.11 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1950.
Measurements – The diamond is approximately 6.3mm in diameter. Sits 5.3mm from the finger.
