Mid Century 1.52 Carat Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1955
A delightful cluster of old cut diamonds. The bright and very lively old European cut in the centre – weighing in at comfortably over half a carat – is surrounded by a further eight old European cuts in a wonderfully wonky cluster, reflective of the differing proportions of the smaller stones. The diamond are secured in a coronet setting which sits nice and low to the finger, leading to a flat and tapering white gold shank.

Colour – The centre diamond is G with F to G in the surround.
Clarity – The centre is VS2. The surrounding stones are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The centre is a approximately 0.56 carat, with a further approximate 0.96 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1955.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 12 x 11.5mm. Sits 5.9mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped 585 – 14k white gold – and tests as such.
