Mid Century 1.52 Carat Old Cut Diamond Ornate Cluster Ring, dated 1966
A grand and highly detailed cluster ring. The central stone – a lively light yellow old cut – is set proudly within a six claw scalloped-back setting. The highly detailed surround features six principle stones, with a further thirty diamonds in the rest of the cluster and running down the shoulders of the band. Highly detailed, asymmetrical scrolling work in the gallery leads to flat, white gold shank.
Internal engraving [2 – 24 – 66] is still faintly visible.

Cut – The centre stone is an old mine cut. The diamonds in the surround are eight-cuts.
Colour – The centre stone is light yellow. The diamonds in the surround are H to J.
Clarity – The centre stone is SI2. The diamonds in the surround are VS2 to I1. All are stone are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The centre stone is a known 0.95 carat, with a total overall of approximately 1.52 carat.
Dated – 1966.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 16.8 x 15mm. Sits 11.1mm from the finger.
Size – P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
