Mid Century 1.60 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1950
A gorgeous and glowing diamond engagement ring. The cushion shaped stone in the centre displays a soft champagne tone and a wonderful square cushion shape. The stone is showcased in a platinum eight-claw crown collet, leading to platinum shoulders set with six (three either side) rose cut diamonds, to a D-shaped yellow gold shank. A ring that manages to be moth classic and wholly unique.

Cut – Cushion shaped old mine cut with rose cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – Light yellow in the centre. The rose cuts are I to J.
Clarity – SI1 in the centre. The rose cuts are SI1 to I1; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – 1.60 in the centre. With an additional approximate 0.09 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1950.
Measurements – The centre stone is approximately 7.4 x 6.8mm. Sits 6.5mm from the finger.
