Mid Century 15.10 Carat Lilac Star Sapphire & Fancy Yellow Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1960

There is absolutely nothing conventional about this ring. The quite awesome natural star sapphire is soft lilac hue and displays a good asterism. The stone is set within a surround of twenty natural fancy vivid yellow diamonds, with a further four (two either side) diamonds in the shoulders. The open gallery leads to a simple yellow gold band. Wonderfully bonkers!

Cut – Oval shaped cabochon sapphire and round brilliant cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are fancy vivid yellow.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS1.

Carat – The sapphire is a known 15.10 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.96 carat.

Circa – 1960.

Size – N (UK) or 6.6 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down. There is some limit to how much this can be altered, so please contact us before ordering if you would need this resized

Measurements – The head of the ring is 25.6mm by 20.4mm and sits 10.1mm from the finger.
