Mid Century 17.31 Carat Cat’s Eye Chrysoberyl & Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1965
A ring that is both huge and hugely impressive. The large, unenhanced, oval shaped cat’s eye chrysoberyl is secured in four claw yellow gold setting, and encircled by sixteen bright brilliant cut diamond in a coronet setting. The tri-split shoulders feature a precise geometric patterning, leading to a slim D-shaped shank.

Cut – Oval cabochon cut chrysoberyl and round brilliant cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are H to J.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The chrysoberyl is 17.31 carat with a total diamond weight of approximately 0.64 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1965.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 22.65 x 20.4mm. Sits 11.8mm from the finger.
Size – P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – Stamped 18CT and tests as 18k yellow and white gold.
