Mid Century 2.18 Carat Sapphire & 1.94 Carat Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1970
An extraordinary sapphire and diamond ring. The oval cut sapphire ring the centre is the perfect blue; strong, bright and richly saturated. The colour of the centre stone is emphasised by the whiteness of the ten dazzling round brilliant cut diamonds in the surround. The stones are secured in a claw setting within a wired under-gallery, leading to split shoulders set with a further round brilliant diamond.

Cut – Oval cut sapphire and round brilliant cut diamonds
Colour – The diamonds are F around the sapphire and I in the shoulders.
Clarity – The sapphire is eye-clean. The diamonds are VS2 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 2.18 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 1.94 carat.
Circa – 1970.
Size – O (UK) or 7 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 17.8 x 14.3mm and sits 7mm from the finger.
