Mid Century 2.37 Carat Burmese Ruby & Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1960
What a stunner. The glorious vintage ruby ring features a beautiful, rich regal red ruby – certified as natural, unheated, and originating from Myanmar (Burma) – which is surround by twenty pure white round brilliant cut diamonds. The cluster of gems sits atop a wired gallery, leading to a nicely substantial 18k white gold shank. A truly high quality piece.
Accompanied by a ruby report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the ruby shows no indication of heating, and is Burmese (Myanmar) in origin.
Cut – Octagonal cut ruby and round brilliant cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 and VS2.
Carat – The ruby is a known 2.37 carat. A total approximate diamond weight of 0.60 carat.
Circa – 1960.
Size – K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The ruby is 9.40 x 6.11mm. The head of the ring is 14.5 x 10.9mm and sits 6.2mm from the finger.
