Mid Century 2.52 Carat Ceylon Yellow Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1950
A vintage yellow sapphire ring of quality and style. The unique cut sapphire in the centre – certified as natural, heated, and originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) – is a long decagon and displays a vibrant golden yellow. The stone sits nice and low to the ring and is flanked by flamboyant platinum shoulders set with eight (four each side) eight-cut diamonds, leading to a slender 18k yellow gold shank. A wonderfully individual ring.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
