Mid Century 2.61 Carat Natural Sapphire & Diamond Target Ring, French, circa 1965

A hypnotically beautiful natural sapphire and diamond ring. The centre stone – certified as having no heat treatment – is a rich, regal blue with clear flashes of bright cobalt. The sapphire “floats” within a surround of twelve high quality round brilliant cut diamonds, the whiteness of which emphasises the depth of colour of the centre stone. An open, wire gallery leads to a double wire shank that splits at the shoulders.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating.

Cut – Round cut sapphire and round brilliant cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are F to G.

Clarity – The sapphire is eye clean. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.

Carat – The sapphire is a known 2.61 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.96 carat

Circa – 1965.

Size – S (UK) or 9 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The sapphire is 7.99 x 8.07mm. The head of the ring is approximately 16.7mm in diameter. Sits 9.9mm from the finger.
