Mid Century 2.79 Carat Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1955
An immense and immensely beautiful ring. The centre stone is a glowing 2.01 carat (approx.) old cushion cut which displays a soft and warm champagne tone, the colour of which is emphasised by the white diamonds around it. The eighteen old European cut diamonds in the surround are set in a finely pierced and milgrained gallery and conform to a simple, slim white gold shank.

Cut – Cushion shaped old mine cut in the centre, with old European cuts in the surround.
Colour – The centre stone is L, with G to J in the surround.
Clarity – SI1 in the centre. The diamonds in the surround are VS1 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The centre is approximately 2.01 carat, with an additional 0.78 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1955.
Measurements – The centre is approximately 7.6mm x 7mm. The ring is 13.95mm at the widest point and sits 6.2mm from the finger.
