Mid Century 3.50 Carat Ceylon Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1965

This is pure beauty. The natural and unheated Ceylon sapphire is a perfect bright and royal blue; rubover set in white gold with sixteen colourless white diamonds in the surround. Each diamond is individually rubover and milgrain set, with the four diamonds at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock set slightly higher than other stones. Faultlessly stunning.

Accompanied by an Emerald Report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) and with no indication of heating or treating.

Cut – Oval cut sapphire and round brilliant cut diamonds.

Colour – Diamonds are F.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 to VS2. The sapphire is clean to the naked eye.

Carat – The sapphire is approximately 3.50 carat. The total estimated diamond weight is 1.14 carat

Circa – 1965.

Measurements – The head of the ring is approximately 22.5 by 17.mm. Sits 5.6mm from the finger.
