Mid Century 4.46 Carat Ceylon Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1960
A very pretty natural and unheated sapphire ring. The centre stone – certified as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) – is a fresh, sky blue. The stone is secured in a four claw platinum collet which sits on a sturdy knife-edge platinum shank. An impressive, standout ring.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
Cut – Cushion cut.
Carat – 4.46.
Circa – 1960.

Measurements – The sapphire is 10.3 x 8.3mm and sits 6.6mm from the finger.
