Mid Century 7.85 Carat Natural Ceylon Yellow Sapphire Ring, circa 1960

A dreamy natural sapphire ring. The cushion shaped yellow sapphire – certified and unheated and as originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) – is a soft, gentle lemony yellow. The stone is secured in a four claw collet with closed gallery featuring beautiful engraved detailing, which continues down the shoulders of the white gold band.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.

Cut – Cushion cut.

Clarity – The sapphire is SI.

Carat – 7.85 carat.

Circa – 1960.
