Retro 0.59 Carat Fancy Brown Rose Cut Diamond & Ruby Ring, circa 1950
An exceptionally beautiful and unique ring. The cushion shaped rose cut diamond in the centre is secured in a rubover open backed setting and displays a rich and deep cognac hue. The centre stone is flanked on either side by two pair of square cut rubies, each a glowing traffic light red. A total of thirty (15 each side) eight-cut diamonds are set in the white gold over-sized shoulders, leading a wide and flat 18k yellow gold shank. Just fabulous.
