Retro 2.17 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1945
Big, bright and very impressive. This large old cut diamond is secured in an eight-claw open collet with nice hoop detailing in the gallery. The fine white gold shank feature six (three each side) rose cut diamonds in the shoulders.

Cut – Old mine cuts
Colour – The centre is I, with H to I in the shoulders.
Clarity – I1 in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are SI2 to I1.
Carat – The centre is a known 2.17 carat, with an estimated 0.04 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1945.
Size – K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The centre stone is approximately 8.6mm in diameter. Sits 6.5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
