Victorian 0.81 Carat Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1900
A fine late Victorian sapphire ring. The bold, almost architectural ring is crafted beautifully buttery antique high-carat gold, with ornate detailing at the shoulders and fancy scrolls at the north and south of the ring. The centre is set with a bright, vivid blue sapphire secured by four claws within a square collet. An impressively unique antique solitaire.
