Victorian Old Cut Diamond & Rose Cut Diamond Flower Brooch, circa 1860
An highly impressive flower brooch; ornate, detailed and exquisitely crafted. Set with 101 rose cut diamonds and centred by one larger old miner cut diamond with a total estimated diamond weight of 2.90 carat. The stones are set in silver with the back of the brooch in 9k rose gold. Sheer beauty.

Cut – The centre diamond is an old mine cut, the rest are rose cuts
Colour – H in the centre. The rose cuts are G to I.
Clarity – The central diamond is VS2. The rose cut diamonds are all clean to the naked eye (VS1 to SI2).
Carat – The central diamond is approximately 0.80 carat, with an estimated 2.10 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1860.
Measurements – 36.3mm by 36.3mm
Metal – The diamonds are set in oxidised silver. The back of the brooch is 9k gold. Tested.
