Victorian Ruby & Diamond Crossover Cluster Ring, circa 1900
What a pretty ring. This stunning late Victorian cluster ring features a glowingly bright ruby in the centre, which is star-set in silver within a surround of six high quality old cut diamonds. The cluster is embraced by a sweeping and slim knife edge shank. Desperately pretty.
Cut – Old cut diamonds and an old cut ruby.
Colour – The diamonds are G.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS2
Carat – The ruby is approximately 0.07 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.18 carat.
Circa – 1900.
Size – J (UK) or 4 5/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The cluster is 7.6 by 6.9mm and sits 3.9mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped 18CT, indicating 18k rose gold, and tests as such. The ruby and the diamonds are set in silver.
