Vintage Soviet 7.00 Carat Synthetic Sapphire Earrings, circa 1980

A wonderful pair of earrings from the former Soviet Union. Each earring is set with a cobalt blue synthetic sapphire secured in a simple, stripped back 14k rose gold setting. On long shepherds hooks allowing the stones to hang just below the earlobe.

Cut – Oval shaped mixed cut.

Carat – Each sapphire is approximately 3.50.

Circa – 1980.

Measurements – Each sapphire is approximately 15 x 8mm.

Metal – 14k gold. Soviet / USSR hallmarks.
