Art Deco 0.54 Carat Fancy Yellowish Brown Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1930
A fine and fancy vintage diamond engagement ring. The centre stone is a distinctive copper hue, the colour of which is emphasised by the yellow gold coronet collet in which it sits. The slim, polished shank is crafted in platinum. A beautiful ring crafted the opposite way to most rings of this era; commonly, the main part of the ring would be crafted in yellow gold, with a white diamond set in a platinum collet whereas this is the other way around.
