Art Deco 0.70 Carat & 0.39 Carat Diamond Five Stone Ring, circa 1930
A majestic vintage ruby and diamond ring. Set with a trio of bright, post-box red rubies which are interspaces by a pair of white and bright old European cut diamonds and eight small rose cut diamonds, two between each stone. Beautifully intricate detailing in the gallery leads to a slender D-shaped shank. Crafted in 18k yellow gold with clear hallmarks from the Birmingham assay.

Cut – Round cut rubies with old European cut and rose cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G to J.
Clarity – The two main diamonds are SI1 and SI2. The rose cut diamonds are SI2 to I1.
Carat – The total ruby weight is approximately 0.70 carat, with two main diamond weighting a combined approximate 0.38 carat, with a further approximate 0.01 carat of rose cut diamonds.
Circa – 1930.
Size – M (UK) or 6 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – From the outer edge of one ruby to the other is 16.8mm. The ring is 5.4mm at the widest point and sits 4.5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold. Hallmarks from the Birmingham (UK) assay.
