A fabulous, unique and bold Art Deco opal pendant. The large, cabochon pear opal – conservatively estimated to weight 20 carats – is luminous and otherworldly. The stone drops from a long, white gold bar adorned with six-pairs of diamond set wings – a popular motif in the Art Deco jewellery, symbolic of the wings of Eros.

Cut – Pear cabochon opal. The diamond are old European cuts, eight-cuts and rose cuts.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The diamond are SI1 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The opal is approximately 20.00 carat; the diamond weight is approximately 0.97 carat. There are a total of 39 diamonds.

Measurements – The opal is approximately is 22.97 x 17.90mm. From the top of the bale to the bottom of the opal is 70.2mm
