Art Deco 7.13 Carat Sapphire & 1.11 Carat Old Cut Diamond Trilogy Ring, circa 1920
An exquisite Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring. The sapphire in the centre – certified as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) – is a bright, rich and vivid blue. The stone is secured in a four claw platinum collet with ornate detailing in the gallery, and flanked by a pair of matching cushion shaped old mine cut diamonds. Utterly mesmeric.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
Cut – Cushion cut sapphire with old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are J.
Clarity – The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds are SI1 to SI2.
Carat – The sapphire is a known 7.13 carat. The diamonds are 0.57 carat and 0.54 carat.
Circa – 1920.
Size – K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 12.6 x 10.6mm. From the outer edge of one diamond to the other is 16.9mm and sits 7.5mm from the finger.
Weight – 6.6 grams.
