Mid Century 2.06 Carat Natural Pink Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1960
A truly special unheated pink sapphire ring. The cushion cut centre stone – certified as natural and unheated – displays the most electric vivid pink. The sapphire is secured in a four claw platinum collet with geometric detailing in the gallery. Ten (five each side) eight-cut diamonds are set in the shoulders of the slender platinum shank.
Accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #5783-4334 stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating.
Cut – Cushion cut sapphire and eight-cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The sapphire is eye clean. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The sapphire is a known 2.06 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.10 carat.
Circa – 1960.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 6.43 x 6.04mm. Sits 6.5mm from the finger.
