Mid Century 1.60 Carat Fire Opal & 2.00 Carat Diamond Ring, circa 1960
A bright and glowing vintage fire opal ring. The centre stone displays a bright tangerine orange, and is surround by twelve incredibly bright and white round brilliant cut diamonds – the two at the ‘north’ and ‘south’ of the cluster slightly larger than the other ten. The diamonds are set within a coronet cluster with exceptionally pretty detailing in the under-gallery. On a slim, 18k white gold shank which splits three ways at the shoulders. Wonderfully impressive.
