Victorian 1.15 Carat Fire Opal & 1.50 Carat Old Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1890
An astonishingly beautiful Victorian ring. The fire opal in the centre is a glowingly bright, fiery reddish orange, and sits within a surround of ten super white, super bright old mine cut diamonds, with two long oval shaped old cuts at the ends of the cluster providing the ring with a marquise shape. Flamboyantly ornate shoulders conform to a D-shaped shank. An absolute masterpiece.
